2. Offline-Only Design

Sherlock Holmes: Join the Case is a fully offline application. The App does not connect to any server, does not transmit any data over the internet, and does not require an internet connection to function. All content is bundled within the App.

3. Data We Store

All data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. This includes:

• Reading progress and story completion status
• Deduction challenge results and scores
• Achievements and streaks
• Bookmarks and preferences
• Language and theme settings
• Weekly reading activity

This data is stored using encrypted local storage. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all local data.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or process any data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• No account or registration data
• No location data
• No contacts, photos, or media
• No browsing or search history
• No analytics or usage tracking data
• No advertising identifiers
• No financial or payment information
• No device identifiers sent to any server
• No data of any kind sent to any third party

5. Local Notifications

The App may send local notifications (daily challenge reminders, reading streak encouragement) if you grant permission. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server or third party.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools. No data is shared with any third party.

The App is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect their own data in accordance with their respective privacy policies, which is outside our control.

7. Children's Privacy

This App does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). Since no personal data is collected, no parental consent is required.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we hold no data about you:

• Full Control: Your data is on your device and accessible through the App.
• Deletion: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data. You can also reset your data from within the App settings.
• No Data Requests Needed: We hold no data about you on any server.

For Users in the European Union (GDPR)

No personal data is collected, stored, or processed by us. The App operates entirely on your device.

For Users in California (CCPA)

We do not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

For Users in Turkey (KVKK)

No personal data is processed within the meaning of Law No. 6698. All data remains on your device under your control.
